GOBAR-DHAN which stands for Galvanizing Organic Bio-Agro Resources Dhan is a visionary scheme which was launched by Ms. Uma Bharti (the then Union Minister for Sanitation & Drinking Water) and Mr. Manohar Lal Khattar (Chief Minister of Haryana) on 30th April, 2018. India first heard about the scheme during Union Budget Session 2018-2019 when it was announced by Late Mr. Arun Jaitley (the then Finance Minister).
